By using EduConnect (“the site”) you agree to these terms.

Study tools and AI

Tools are free and provided “as is”. Calculators, grade converters and the ATAR estimate are estimates only – your school, university or admissions centre decides official results. The AI explainer can make mistakes; check important facts. Don’t use the site to cheat – follow your school’s academic integrity rules.

Courses

Courses and textbooks are provided by third parties on their own websites under their own terms and licences. We only link to them and don’t control them.

Tutor directory

• Listings may only be created by adults aged 18 or over, for themselves or their own business.
• EduConnect does not check, verify, vet, endorse or recommend any tutor. Listings are written by tutors. We review them only for obvious problems and may remove any listing at any time.
• Tutors must hold any checks, registrations or insurance the law requires where they teach, and must not claim to be “verified” or “vetted” by EduConnect.
• Any lessons, prices and payments are arranged directly between you and the tutor. EduConnect is not a party to them and takes no fees.
• Listings must be truthful, family-safe and not contain other people’s personal information.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site, including any dealings with tutors. Nothing excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may change the site and these terms at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
